Virgin Hotels Collection has appointed Tim Wyman to the role of vice president of development. Bringing forth more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and real estate, Wyman will identify new business, including management and investment opportunities, for the growing hospitality company.
Wyman has previously lent his expertise to Choice Hotels International as regional vice president of real estate and franchise development, as well as Gatehouse Capital, where he served as vice president of real estate. Most recently, he worked as vice president of investments for NewcrestImage.
“Tim joins the Virgin family at a timely moment as we plot our ambitious growth strategy under the newly formed Virgin Hotels Collection,” says CEO James Bermingham. “He brings a diverse skill set, extensive industry knowledge, and a proven track record that makes him an integral addition to the team, and we’re excited to see him take our brands to new heights.”
Announced in January, Virgin Hotels Collection brings together luxury lifestyle brand Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition—the private global collection of retreats, hotels, and exclusive islands owned by Richard Branson—under one joint banner.
