Debuting later this year, Chalet Alpina is set to become Aspen’s newest luxury resort and residential retreat.

The project includes a luxury hotel, a private mountain members club, and a collection of ski-in/ski-out residences.

Two restored historic skier’s chalets will be repurposed as the property’s signature restaurant and the Aspen Ski Museum, while a new high-speed Lift One and a public park space will connect the development to downtown Aspen.

Modern mountain architecture by Guerin Glass

Designed by Brooklyn-based Guerin Glass Architects, Chalet Alpina’s contemporary alpine architecture is rooted in context. The firm’s design enhances the site by integrating it into the surrounding landscape while complementing Aspen’s natural beauty.

Publicly accessible spaces and pedestrian throughways invite the community in, weaving the development into the town.

Interior design by Martin Brudnizki

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio will bring its signature sophistication and sense of place to the interiors of Chalet Alpina. Known for blending classic elegance with playful details, Brudnizki’s vision reimagines alpine living at its most elevated.

“The inspiration behind the design of Chalet Alpina takes cues from Aspen’s history, blending the classic ski destination aesthetic with thoughtful details that bring a sense of luxury, comfort, fun, and tradition,” Brudnizki says. “From the resort to the residences and club spaces, the design weaves together Aspen’s enduring legacy with rich, modern layers that offer something truly unique to the charming mountain village—a space that feels both timeless and transportive.”

“Each space will flow into the next, with a quiet rhythm and a sense of narrative,” he adds. “By layering soft forms, inviting textures, and colors drawn from the surrounding landscape, the interiors will feel immersive and transportive—as though the guests and residents have stepped into a beautifully told story.”

Residences at Chalet Alpina

The residential offering comprises six expansive Mountain Homes with private amenities, as well as 26 resort residences—ranging from two to four bedrooms—with co-ownership opportunities.

Residents will have access to a full suite of lifestyle amenities, including a spa, rooftop pool, fitness center, private ski shop, dining and entertaining venues, and membership in the Chalet Alpina private club.
