Major Food Group (MFG) is joining forces with luxury resort Atlantis the Royal to bring its iconic Carbone concept to Dubai next year.
When the original Carbone location debuted in New York just over a decade ago, it was hailed as an instant classic. The Italian-American restaurant has gone on to expand globally and cement a reputation as one of the world’s most influential contemporary restaurants.
A look inside Carbone Dubai
Italian-American cuisine will be served by tuxedo-clad service captains in a sprawling dining room that will transport guests to 1950s New York with velvety jewel-toned nooks, damask-upholstered walls accented with Venetian glass mirrors, a curated collection of fine artwork, and a buzzing terrace.
Carbone Dubai will mark the restaurant’s ninth outpost, following Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas, Doha, Riyadh, and two locations in New York. Founded by Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi, MFG now operates a portfolio of more than 50 restaurants, bars, private clubs, and hotels.
“At Carbone Dubai, we will deliver the style, energy, and unparalleled cuisine that are synonymous with the brand, while creating a restaurant carefully tailored to this extraordinary city,” says Zalaznick. “Together with our friends at Atlantis, we look forward to making history.”
