The unique Inns Whiskey Bar has opened in Chengdu, China, bringing a new approach to how an upscale bar could look like with a daring style conceived by locally based Wooton Designers.
Spread across 10,700 square feet, the cavernous structure features a copper-clad interior, showcasing an organic shape reminiscent of a pot still. Amber hues wrap the space along with leather and volcanic stone elements beyond the ovular entryway, as the unique linear geometry of the bar gently contrasts the smooth forms of the venue throughout.
Suspended from the ceiling at the center of the space is an artwork called Ice Sphere naturally complementing the golden palette, while a small pond is outfitted into the space beneath a floating wall.
