UK-based restaurant group D&D London has recruited Cetraruddy to craft its latest New York outpost as part of the F&B options at the sprawling Hudson Yards development from Related. Known as Queensyard, the forthcoming restaurant, bar, and café will fuse its English traditions with the influence of its New York setting.
The 11,142-square-foot restaurant will blend the warm environment of a contemporary English home with the sleek aesthetic of a Manhattan penthouse. Wood and metal textures will reference the original Hudson Rail Yard tracks to offset warm and inviting details. An elegant private dining room will be encircled by a glowing wine storage. The open bar will flow naturally through the atrium, serving as a café space during daytime hours, while the dining room will be appointed with plush wingback chairs and banquettes that overlook the Vessel, a key fixture of Hudson Yards. Artwork, including handpainted work from American artist Sarah Moore, will reference modern UK icons and further perpetuate the British identity of the environment.
