In partnership with Major Food Group (MFG), the Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn, New York has unveiled the Crown Club lounge. Designer Ken Fulk, a frequent MFG collaborator, spearheaded renovations of the 7,700-square-foot space alongside Shawmut Design and Construction.
The lounge was imagined as a lavish residence complete with a living room, dining room, intimate salon, and fully stocked pantry. “We wanted to create an experience that would land Crown Club in the archives of New York nightlife,” Fulk says. “We set out to create a cinematic environment—dark, moody, elegant, and unapologetically glamorous—that instantly sets the stage for unforgettable nights out amid the bold-faced names of our time.”
Dark wall panels line the interior along with rich fabric. Parquet floors further perpetuate a residential-style sense of luxury. The space also pays homage to Brooklyn icons including Biggie Smalls and Jean-Michel Basquiat with colorful artwork that serves as locally inspired focal points.
