Interior design firm the Orange Lane has artfully captured the soul of Mexico at Pompa, a vibrant new restaurant in Mumbai.
The 4,000-square-foot space is a fusion of color, culture, and craftsmanship. Terracotta flooring, rustic accents, traditional pottery, and textural fabrics evoke the warmth of a Mexican villa, set against a backdrop of sage green walls.
Punctuated by jewel tones, the eclectic design concept boasts a cheerful row of printed sofas, paired with colorful serapes—iconic Mexican textiles with geometric patterns that embody the elements of nature.
Sunlight streams in through gauzy curtains, highlighting the bold hues and tassel-trimmed fabrics that adorn the seating.
At the heart of Pompa is a stunning illuminated bar. A tree-like structure with red tiles anchors the circular bar, while brass footrests and warm stub lights add a touch of glamour.
Elevated emerald green flooring, rustic urns, and vintage bottles further enhance the sense of history and character within the space. Heritage windows with scalloped red curtains and strong green and off-white hues bring in additional natural light.
