Martín Pittaluga, Gustavo Barbero, and Guzmán Artagaveytia, co-owners of Uruguay restaurant Parador La Huella, are preparing to launch a new location, Quinto La Huella, in Miami. The beachfront restaurant will offer an eclectic menu of world fare with South American details to complement its roots.
Located within the $1.05 billion multifunctional Brickell City Center, the 9,700-square-foot fifth-floor space is envisioned as an urban oasis. Designed by Santa Monica-based Studio Collective, the 359-seat restaurant offers guests the option to dine on the patio or in the expansive dining lounge and large central bar area.
The restaurant will introduce the South American fire cooking concept, with a parilla centered in the kitchen. Wood fire ovens with red and white oak and a sushi counter inspired by the Florida coastline are both standouts, while artwork by Studio Collective and Miami-based Sammer Gallery create a relaxed residential energy.
Quinto La Huella will be managed by Brian Williams, the managing director of Swire Hotels, and will open later this month.
