The Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California has added a new F&B option, the Revere Room, to its lineup. Named in homage to prolific California architect Paul Revere Williams, the all-day concept helmed by Michelin-starred Italian chef Massimo Falsini is situated within the resort’s Manor House and features an aesthetic executed by Caruso that is both elegant and inviting.
“Our vision for the Revere Room was very much rooted in the residential style and sentiment that inspired the design of Rosewood Miramar Beach,” says Dave Williams, chief design officer at Caruso. “The restaurant is located within the resort’s Manor House and draws on the historic residential design cues of parquet wood plank flooring, Gracie wallpaper, high-gloss moldings and wainscot, cut-glass chandeliers and sconces, and fine art to create a dining room we imagined in a great estate designed by the late Paul Revere Williams.”
Dual dining patios are populated with handsome upscale furniture, while the main dining room enchants with a classic ethos. Dark-stained chevron oak floors span the interior in contrast to ivory and cream tones that adorn the sleek décor. The back bar serves as a key focal point in the main dining room, along with handpainted Gracie wallpaper that depicts chinoiserie garden scenes, against an antiqued blue backdrop. The Revere Room is also outfitted with an impressive art collection that includes a lithograph by Georges Braque and a portrait by Pablo Picasso.
