The AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter has debuted in the Perimeter Center of Dunwoody, Georgia just outside downtown Atlanta. The new 156-room hotel, located across from the bustling Perimeter Mall, was crafted by Columbus, Ohio-based practice Meyers + Associates Architecture to reflect a rustic-yet-stylish sense of place.
“Georgia’s Piedmont region is well known for the distinctive red color of its clay soils. Inspired by these distinctive ‘Georgia red clay’ soils, the building’s southeast corner incorporates a characteristic red clay color with a subtle variation between each of the wall panels,” says the firm’s principal architect and founding owner Chris Meyers. “This accent color serves to highlight the activity of the lobby area below and the lounge space above.”
Home to several of the Marriott brand’s fixtures, including AC Kitchen, AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter also features the signature AC Lounge as its nucleus, inviting communal engagement across its multifunctional layout. Sexy indoor-outdoor terrace Bar Peri crowns the hotel, rounding out the onsite social hubs against a backdrop of panoramic landscape and city views.
A fitness center and more than 1,000 square feet of event space, including two private breakout rooms, are also featured onsite.
