Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the groundbreaking for Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. Slated to open in mid-2023, the forthcoming resort will be spread across 50 acres of beachfront, and New York-based design firm Meyer Davis is handling the interiors.
“We’ve created a warm and neutral backdrop paired with fresh blue tones and bright accents that reflect the Baja landscape, endless sea, and desert blooms,” says Meyer Davis cofounder Gray Davis, “Texture plays an important role in our design, where we’ve redefined the artisan hand through a mix of traditional materials and contemporary techniques. Mexico has a legacy of craft and rich, earthy color that makes creating a vibrant and comfortable interior all the more interesting for our design team.”
Part of the Cabo Del Sol development, the Four Seasons Resort will be home to 74 guestrooms and casitas, 17 suites, and five villas. Amenities will include a variety of casual and elegant dining options, a spa, fitness center, children’s club, as well as an open-air mercado that showcases premium goods alongside items from local vendors. Family, adult, and spa pools will also span the property.
A total of 61 Four Seasons private residences will occupy up to 5,600 square feet of beachfront, designed in homage to the Spanish missions.
