Located in the heart of Houston, Texas, Hotel Vesper, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel underwent a transformative redesign led by Georgia-based Pixel Design Collaborative.
The design narrative is based on a fictional persona named Vesper, whom is a Houstonian with Parisian flair. This guided a sense of feminine mystique and sophistication throughout the interiors, resulting in spaces that feel a bit enigmatic, yet welcoming and comfortable.
The hotel’s proximity to the Galleria, one of the region’s major shopping destinations, also inspired elements of fashion and luxury. A garnet-hued grand entrance welcomes guests into a space adorned with intricate chandeliers and plush furnishings, setting the tone for the hotel’s refined ambiance, which carries into the reception area adorned with antique mirrors and jewel-like accents.
Luxurious style continues in the hotel’s 131 guestrooms, where bold hues, sumptuous textures, and custom furnishings create a sanctuary of comfort.
In the Cache Cocktail lounge, vibrant wallcoverings and rich textures offer an intimate refuge. Here, a daytime café is open and visually accessible to guests, while a moodier, private bar is revealed behind a door with a glass screen. The space features an opulent bar with ample seating paired with flora and fauna-themed furniture and art.
