This Sunday, Davidson Hotels and Resorts will reveal the $32 million renovation of Hotel Zephyr, located in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
Designed by Seattle-based Dawson Design Associates, the 361-room waterfront hotel features a maritime theme and is located near Pier 39, the Alcatraz ferries, and Ghirardelli Square. Six newly constructed suites will have waterfront views of San Francisco Bay, and select rooms will contain dartboards and backgammon. All rooms will include smart TVs with access to personal streaming accounts.
The hotel will also debut the Yard, an 11,600-square-foot outdoor lounge featuring large-sized versions of games, such as Connect-Four, Jenga, tube ping pong, and a tabletop labyrinth maze. Guests will sit by fire pits and shipping crates decorated with plant life, while a marina-inspired water feature will serve as the centerpiece.
