The Made Hotel has debuted in New York’s NoMad neighborhood, spread across 18 stories with designs from Los Angeles-based design firm Studio MAI. The 108-room urban concept emphasizes sustainability with an ecoconscious material palette without sacrificing luxury.
Conceived with elements of global simplicity, the property features simultaneously humble and elegant guestroom designs, while also showcasing personalized touches, such as custom, raw bronze shelving and rich handwoven fabrics. Meanwhile, details like polished, stainless steel mirrors contrast handcarved benches. Also of note, a large-scale mural from Brooklyn-based artist Bill Rebholz adorns the stairwell.
In addition to the lobby bar and coffee shop concept Paper, F&B options include the signature, subterranean restaurant Ferris, which also hosts a courtyard, and the greenhouse-style rooftop venue Good Behavior located on the 18th floor.
