Omni Hotels & Resorts is developing the 300-room Omni Frisco Hotel in Frisco, Texas, where it will open in early summer 2017.
The 16-story, luxury property in part of the Star development, a mixed-use complex that includes the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and the Ford Center—a 12,000-seat, indoor stadium for amateur football. The 90-acre site will also incorporate retail options, corporate offices, and restaurants.
“The design and style of the hotel will honor the history of the Dallas Cowboys and the…progress of the city of Frisco,” says Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts. “This hotel will be a true collaboration that reflects the local flavor of Frisco.”
A rooftop pool area, located on the fourth floor and featuring views of the plaza and Ford Center, will accommodate 300 to 400 guests, and include three firepits, cabanas, and a bar and grill.
Additional amenities will include a fine dining venue; a lobby coffee and wine bar; a luxury retail outlet with sketches of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor inductees for sale; and more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space with a 13,000-square-foot ballroom.
