Renaissance Hotels has opened its second hotel in Beijing. The 329-room Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing joins the Renaissance Beijing Capital in the capital city and a portfolio of 18 hotels in China.
The new hotel blends history and modern design in the hotel’s distinctive two-sided building, with one side facing the Forbidden City palace and the other facing historic Wangfujing Street. The lobby design reflects the work patterns of the modern business traveler, allowing for a smooth transition from work to relaxation. Each contemporary designed guestroom and suite offers a soothing color palette.
“This is an exciting time for Renaissance Hotels and for our guests who are discovering fabulous new design, local culinary inspiration, and discovery around every corner,” says Henry Lee, COO of Greater China for Marriott International.
Destination dining includes Hutong Place, Wanli, R Bar, and all-day restaurant Food Studio. For meetings, the hotel offers the largest ballroom in the area (10,006 square feet) and five additional meeting rooms.
