The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows has reopened after a 10-month closure, during which it served as a refuge for local residents affected by the 2023 wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
New F&B venues
The 27-acre oceanfront resort reopens with new developments, including two culinary venues: oceanfront restaurant Lahaina Noon and poolside bar Pineapple Moon. Both venues were conceptualized by TableOne Hospitality and designed by Honolulu-based the Vanguard Theory.
Lahaina Noon captures the essence of Maui’s vibrant culture and natural beauty with unobstructed views of Ka’anapali Beach. The name Lahaina Noon pays homage to a natural phenomenon where the sun sits directly overhead—a symbol of perfect harmony between earth and sky.
Pineapple Moon, a relaxed poolside counterpart to Lahaina Noon, is a breezy, open-air venue with a vibrant, social atmosphere decked with canary-yellow cabanas and palm trees.
Additional renovations at Royal Lahaina
Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows has also unveiled a refreshed lobby and pool area.
The resort’s 127 private bungalows, nestled amid tropical gardens, have also been updated with elevated comforts and midcentury-inspired décor, offering views of the ocean, mountains, or the adjacent golf course.
Additional renovations are in progress, including the expansion of wedding and event spaces to include oceanfront wedding suites, complete with dedicated concierge services and amenities. Additionally, the Alana Spa is set to debut a new wellness oasis with six private suites and an enhanced treatment menu.
