The forthcoming Six Senses Kanuhura resort promises a refined tropical island getaway with an emphasis on sustainability and wellness. Accepting reservations beginning in September, the Maldivian property merges natural beauty with thoughtful design.
Inspired by turquoise lagoon waters and lush tropical nature, the interior color palette employed throughout the resort includes marine hues and earth tones that fully blend with the surrounding environment. The design is purposely bold, polished over rustic, as well as eco-friendly. All elements were crafted from local and sustainable materials.
Six Senses Kanuhura’s 91 beachfront and overwater villas—including 12 one- to three-bedroom beach retreats with private pools—are tailored for comfort. Large windows are a highlight, bathing the rooms in natural light and offering striking views of the island’s lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Outdoor rain showers are also featured.
Six Senses Kanuhura is located in one of the most pristine corners of the Lhaviyani Atoll, approximately 93 miles north of Male, a short 40-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport.
