In the heart of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC), SO/ Uptown Dubai makes its debut as a five-star urban resort that seamlessly blends avant-garde design, art, and fashion. The hotel is located inside the 1,115-foot-high Uptown Tower, a supertall skyscraper by architecture firm Adrian Smith & Gordon Gill.
Crafted in collaboration with architecture studio Woods Bagot, SO/Uptown Dubai takes on a dynamic design approach, from a kaleidoscope experience in the lobby to contemporary, geometric elements woven throughout the property.
The hotel’s 188 guestrooms and suites are characterized by an opulent, fashion-forward aesthetic, featuring marble-clad bathrooms, rich fabrics, and dark wood finishes, all punctuated by eclectic pops of color and bold graphics. The accommodations are accentuated by high ceilings and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
Onsite F&B experiences include Asian fusion restaurant the Citronelle Club, entertainment-led dining venue Celeste, poolside bar Lazuli, and more. The property also boasts conference facilities and a 1,000-person ballroom.
Above it all, occupying the tower’s 28 uppermost floors, are 227 branded residences. These residences—ranging from one-bedroom apartments to penthouses—echo the contemporary aesthetics of SO/Uptown Dubai. Panoramic windows frame views of the city skyline, creating homes bathed in light and luxury.
