Sonesta Ocean Point Resort is set for a soft opening next month on St. Maarten, following a multimillion-dollar renovation of the former Ocean Terrace building.
Blending contemporary design with a Caribbean vibe, the property evokes a chic atmosphere from the public spaces to each of the accommodations. The resort features three pools, three bars, and several lounges including the Sunset Lounge & Bar, Azul rooftop bar, and the Mediterranean-influenced Azul restaurant.
Sonesta Ocean Point is ideally suited to accommodate weddings and other special events with its 10-acre oceanfront location. The hotel also features 24,000 square feet of renovated, eco-friendly meeting and conference facilities for business and social occasions, accommodating up to 1,000 people.
