Machine Investment Group and Taconic Capital have unveiled the Hollywood Grande, Autograph Collection in the heart of Hollywood’s Entertainment District.
Formerly the Thompson Hollywood, the 11-story property, managed by Ten Five Hospitality, houses 190 midcentury-inspired guestrooms (including 16 suites).
Midcentury-inspired Hollywood design

Lobby
Designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners with architecture by Steinberg Hart, the Hollywood Grande is crafted as a gathering place for both travelers and the local creative community.
Guests are greeted by a trellis-covered walkway that leads into a tranquil lobby, where warm timber tones, lush greenery, and a custom terrazzo floor set the tone.
The interiors feature a mix of midcentury and contemporary furnishings, paired with details like bespoke rugs and a terrazzo-topped bar.
Meanwhile, the guestrooms are rendered in a bright and airy palette, which is accentuated by floor-to-ceiling windows. The accommodations are punctuated with accents of color, including yellow bed frames and teal velvet banquettes, as well.
Rooftop dining and Bar Lis at Hollywood Grande

Bar Lis
The hotel remains home to Bar Lis and the Terrace at Bar Lis, a rooftop lounge designed by Bernadette Blanc.
Evoking the sun-soaked charm of the Côte d’Azur, the space pairs sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills and iconic Hollywood sign with laid-back elegance.
