The first U.S. outpost of the Hoxton brand is set to welcome guests beginning in September in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Housed within a former Rosenwach factory, the Hoxton Williamsburg will debut as the first of three openings in 2018, with locations in Downtown Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon to follow later this year. The Hoxton, Chicago is poised to open by early 2019 as well.
The in-house London-based Ennismore Design Studio will craft the hotel’s 175 guestrooms, which will span the categories of cosy, cosy with a view, and roomy. Brass detailing will contrast raw, concrete ceilings and mohair headboards adorned in sage green, port, and navy tones. Locally sourced ceramics and bespoke linens will also furnish each room.
Soho House collaborated with Ennismore on the property’s public spaces, which will include three restaurants, six bars, and the Apartment—a unique meeting and event space that will also host cultural programming. In addition to the main restaurant, Klein’s, the Backyard will open on the outdoor mezzanine with a laidback atmosphere and featuring an array of games. The open-air concept Summerly will serve as the Hoxton’s first rooftop venue.
