Loren Hotels and Residences makes its U.S. debut with the Loren at Lady Bird Lake in Texas.
Located at the threshold of downtown Austin, the upscale hotel features architecture by Rhode Partners and interiors by Fleur-de-lis Interior Design that “create a modern space that references the Texan landscape and its natural materials,” says the firm’s principal Eric McClelland. “The Loren at Lady Bird Lake Hotel is a fresh concept in the Austin hospitality scheme, focusing its attention on the view of the downtown cityscape from its prominent roof deck that provides a sought-after cosmopolitan atmosphere. The design is current and club-like yet comfortable and intimate.”
Clean lines, comfortable furnishings, and a warm color palette permeate the property’s residential-style spaces. Beyond the modern façade, rich jewel-toned fabrics abound alongside blonde oak and metals that form a backdrop for modernist Italian furniture and midcentury pieces.
Signature restaurant Nido embodies rugged Texas charm eight floors above Austin, while the 5,000-square-foot Milk + Honey spa comprises 10 treatment rooms, steam showers, and a lounge. A rooftop terrace endowed with an infinity pool crowns the luxury hotel as well.
From elegant king suites to one- and two-bedroom suites, the hotel’s 108 guestrooms frame city vistas via floor-to-ceiling windows and feature modern furnishings and luxe bathrooms lined with natural stone.
