The Morrow Hotel, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, has opened its doors in Washington, DC. Located in the NoMa section of the city, the 203-room lifestyle hotel serves as a new, convivial social hub for visitors and locals alike with a thoughtful and invigorating ethos embedded in the history of the nation’s capital. The Morrow’s lobby and restaurants were crafted by INC Architecture & Design, while Rottet Studio designed its guestrooms, fitness center, and nearly 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
“The Morrow brings a new chapter in hospitality to an audience that values the grandeur of history and the casual comforts of home,” says Adam Rolston, creative and managing director at INC. “Additionally, the pleasures and well-being derived from strong social connections all manifest in a magical alchemy of modern and neoclassical design idioms that connect the hotel to its city and neighborhood.”
A bright and airy lobby populated by intimate seating areas and harmonic lighting welcomes guests into the sociable destination. In addition to the lobby lounge, which features a backdrop of white oak columns and travertine floors, full-service French brasserie Le Clou reinterprets tradition through a modern lens complete with a wraparound marble bar, striking chandeliers, and gilded finishes. Intimate and upscale cocktail lounge Vesper and rooftop bar Upstairs at the Morrow will join the F&B lineup in early 2023 also.
Rounding out the property, guestrooms and suites were crafted to exude comfort and elegance through a soothing color palette and sumptuous details.
