TRIBE has unveiled its fifth hotel in France, TRIBE Paris Saint-Ouen, in the emerging Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine suburb. Launched in partnership with Suitcase Hospitality, the new property brings TRIBE’s international portfolio to a total of 10 units.
The 112-room lifestyle concept, designed by locally based Maison Malapert, features striking focal points that deliver an artful counterpoint to contemporary interventions. “It interests us because of its very graphic visual, but also because it can echo all kinds of very diverse references,” says Maison Malapert founder Michael Malapert.
Linear motifs and striped patterns weave uniformity across the interiors, including corridors and guestrooms. A unique duality also characterizes the design, juxtaposing raw concrete surfaces with refined, even grandiose, microarchitecture composed of copper, marble, velvet, and other noble materials.
The nucleus of the hotel, the Social Hub serves as a fully equipped coworking space spread across nearly 2,200 square feet. The space includes a daytime café, evening cocktail bar, as well as a 24-hour grab-and-go pantry. A versatile 750-square-foot green terrace functions as another hallmark of the project, embodying versatility to host a range of programming.
Ranging from 190 to 270 square feet, the accommodations at TRIBE Paris Saint-Ouen promote relaxation via electric blue or copper brown hues. Rooms on the top floor are equipped with rooftop terraces as well.
