Marcus Hotels & Resorts has completed the multimillion-dollar renovation of the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North in Atlanta. The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, set within the Concourse Corporate Center, underwent a transformation of all 372 spacious guestrooms, expanded its 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space to include two additional boardrooms and a Westin Executive Club lounge, and introduced a new full-service restaurant, Savor Bar & Kitchen.
Organic elements from Georgia can be found throughout the hotel’s design, beginning in the lobby. Lit panels form an illuminated live oak—a modern perspective on Georgia’s state tree. An iron sculpture, created by local artist Andrew T. Crawford, serves as the focal point. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the hotel’s picturesque views of Concourse Center’s private lake, adding to the hotel’s serene atmosphere.
Custom-designed carpet inspired by Georgia’s state flower, the Cherokee Rose, covers the ballrooms, meeting spaces, and pre-function areas. Modern glass chandeliers accentuate the revitalized event space.
The new restaurant’s décor includes large floor-to-ceiling windows, handblown crystal fixtures that hang from the ceiling, and fresh textures and patterns. Additional facilities include a fitness studio, outdoor pool, and complimentary in-lobby business center.
