The Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is set to unveil another phase in its multi-million dollar transformation with the debut of newly redesigned guestrooms and suites this fall.
Todd Avery-Lenahan of Las Vegas-based TAL Studio leads the overall re-envisioning of the resort. Each room boasts richly finished teak and a stone entryway. Inspired by Hawaii’s Polynesian influences, the interiors include walls of teak and zebra wood edging, artisan-produced Nepalese Lokta paper, and mahogany floors laid with wool handwoven area rugs. Furnishings are of rosewood, leather, iron, and linen.

The bathrooms are enveloped in slate floors, teak paneled walls, and artisan tiles, featuring double wide rain showers or deep soaking bathtubs. Vanity consoles with leathered and carved stone tops are fitted with custom fixtures, dimmable lighting, and in-mirror televisions.
The refreshed lower lobby reflects the tones and textures of the island and adds a Hawaiian aesthetic with earthy colors and curated artwork from across Polynesia, Micronesia, and Hawaii. Pieces include a mid-20th-century billum feather bag and vintage Hawaiian ivory pikake-blossom lei as well as 19th-century Micronesian Gilbert Island shark tooth swords and various prints.
