Los Angeles-based architecture firm J. Byron-H and branding practice Weekday Studio have completed work on Color Camp, the new manicure bar in LA’s Fairfax District. Located along Beverly Boulevard, the 645-square-foot nail salon is characterized by a minimalist, industrial interior contrasted with bright blue seating and tropical flora.
A long, slender counter anchors the space beneath a suspended, multipurpose utility shelf. Four blackened steel tables emerge from the wall across from the bar, accented by custom cobalt blue chairs and bar stools. Concrete flooring spans the salon, which is clad with a pink, gradient wall mural. Pops of sky blue and lavender offset black fixtures such as door handles and hanging rope lights.
