The Venetian Las Vegas has announced plans to launch new cocktail lounge the Dorsey in December. The concept, led by F&B impresario David Rabin and barman Sam Ross of New York speakeasy Attaboy—will be a departure from typical Vegas extravagance, offering a subtly sophisticated atmosphere.
Thomas Schlesser of New York-based Design Bureaux has envisioned a modern environment inspired by the world’s finest cocktails. The Dorsey’s design will make a bold statement for guests approaching the casino floor with rich materials such as French oak, leather, brass, and marble. Expansive leather sofas will provide intimate enclaves for visitors as well.
