Set for a grand opening this spring, the Penny, the latest from Sydell Group, also doubles as housing for graduate students thanks to a partnership with Bard College. Rooted in an intimate, residential sensibility, the 118 apartment-style accommodations come with kitchenettes, while a forthcoming jungle-inspired rooftop offers panoramic views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines. Further, a collaboration with LAND Gallery and Pure Vision Arts provides resources, studio space, and representation for artists with developmental disabilities.
