SkyVue, the observation wheel located across from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, has completed its first phase of construction. The project begins its vertical climb while starting excavation on a two-story retail and dining experience. Scheduled to open in late 2013, the wheel also will feature a 50,000-square-foot LED screen on either side, along with a 21,000-square-foot convention facility and a food court.
