Set to debut this summer, the Edge at Hudson Yards is preparing a sweeping multimillion-dollar transformation that will redefine the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere.
Hudson Yards Experiences tapped the strategy and experience design team at Journey, experiential entertainment studio Moment Factory, and New York-based design studio SOFTlab to craft a new multi-sensory environment.
Spanning the fourth-floor entry all the way to the 100th-floor sky deck, the permanent installations will immerse guests in a kaleidoscopic world of light, color, and motion.

Inside the new luminous environments
The new suite of visual experiences is designed to float guests through a sea of prismatic clouds, transitioning from daytime hues to sunsets and dark nighttime abstractions.
Among the forthcoming installations is Pulse, an immersive world of electric color, light, and sound that distills the city’s intoxicating energy. Meanwhile, the Crystal Cave will invite visitors to step inside a rainbow of translucent jewels that change color in harmony with the rising and setting sun. Additionally, Infinite City will feature vertical luminous skyscrapers that fragment and reframe the Manhattan skyline into a series of worlds within worlds.
Reimagined amenities at the Edge
Beyond the visual exhibits, the observation deck will introduce a new lineup of F&B offerings brought to life by Journey and curated by Tao Group Hospitality. The reimagined indoor and outdoor bars on the 100th floor will offer an all-weather dining experience, and Tao Group’s seasonal outdoor nightlife experience, Marquee Skydeck, will return as a permanent fixture. On the 101st floor, restaurant Peak—now dubbed Peak with Priceless—has been fully revamped and will reopen on May 29th.
“Situated 1,100 feet above one of the greatest cities on earth, Edge at Hudson Yards will transform what it means to be a New York City landmark. Guests will be welcomed into a breathtaking, kaleidoscopic world before they even reach our thrilling outdoor sky deck,” says Andrew Lustgarten, executive chairman of Hudson Yards Experiences. “The new Edge is driven by immersive design, emotional storytelling, and our desire to create experiences that people want to share and return to again and again.”
