Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) has completed the renovation of the 132-room Hotel Amarano Burbank-Hollywood. The boutique hotel’s refresh included the lobby, public areas, guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, and the addition of a new bar and restaurant. StepStone Hospitality manages the hotel.
Fictional muse Amara was the inspiration behind HBA’s design. The lobby is grounded in a residential feel, featuring black and white marble floors, and a gray ceiling that plays off the space’s white walls. A blue chaise gives the scene a pop of color. Protruding from an accent wall is a large white horse sculpture.
In the guestrooms, a color palette of navy, taupe, and whites reigns, with gold and warm woods acting as accents. A refurbished trunk dresser, antique gold-trimmed mirror, and vintage desk phone add glamour. Varied picture frames and old photographs adorn the wall above the bed’s headboard.
