Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is excited to announce the finalists for the 21st annual HD Awards, honoring the best in design across 30 project categories and 14 product categories.
Lauded as the most prestigious awards for the hospitality industry, the yearly event recognizes the best and most innovative achievements in design from around the globe, as well as the creative teams behind them.

From nearly 900 project entries and 400 product submissions, HD will announce the winners live during ceremony on May 6th at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas during HD Expo + Conference. (Purchase tickets for the event now.)
An esteemed panel of industry professionals selected this year’s winners and finalists:
Project judges included Christoper Alvarado, SH Hotels & Resorts; Sam Bakhshandehpour, José Andrés Group; Julia Choi, Jeffrey Beers International; Sara Felch, Kerzner International; Paolo Ferrari, Studio Paolo Ferrari; Alvaro Montoya Mora, Hyatt; Lisa Pasternack, Four Seasons; Leigh Salem, Post Company; Tracy Smith-Woodby, Marriott; Bashar Wali, Practice Hospitality and This Assembly; and Chantell Walsh, Strategic Hotels & Resorts.
Products were judged by Matt Berman, Workshop/APD; Jasmine Brevik, Absolute Procurement; Candra Mathis, Gensler; and Jessica Pfeifer, Host Hotels & Resorts.
The 2025 HD Awards ceremony will also recognize Meyer Davis and Firmdale Hotels’ Kit Kemp as Design Firm and Hotelier of the Year, respectively.
For the seventh year in a row, HD partnered with West Elm to produce the HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition. The $5,000 prize will be awarded to the student and/or recent graduate whose dining chair design stood out. (Submissions are still open—enter by this Friday, March 21st!)
The fifth annual Hospitality Diversity Action Council (HDAC) will also honor exemplary work that advances the hospitality industry through the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and equity with the Awards of Excellence.
