New York-based hospitality design firm Stonehill Taylor has announced a series of promotions, including the appointment of three associate principals, three senior associates, an associate, and a trio of senior designers.
“In an exciting time for travel, we have no doubt that these new leaders will continue to help us innovate hospitality concepts for tomorrow and create long-lasting experiences for hotel guests,” says Stonehill Taylor president Paul Taylor. “We look forward to welcoming this talented group into leadership positions to manage many of the exciting projects in our roster.”
Among the newly elevated are associate principals Paul Weremchuk, Antonino Scarpaci, and Stephanie Liu. With more than 20 years of experience, Weremchuk first joined Stonehill Taylor in 1995 and has lent his expertise to notable projects including the Algonquin Hotel and Ace Hotel Brooklyn. Scarpaci and Liu have both also contributed to hospitality projects like the Whitby Hotel and the InterContinental Barclay New York.
Senior associate Hiten Gandhi, who is a registered architect in the UK and U.S., has served on projects throughout Europe and North America as well as New York gems like the Cornell Tech Graduate Hotel and Crown Plaza HY36. Associate Adam Blatner has also collaborated on projects with AJ Capital and Graduate Hotels in addition to local hotel endeavors like the Moxy Bowery.
Bethany Gale and DeeDee Sanchez have both been elevated to senior interiors associates, bringing forth design prowess honed on major hospitality projects like the Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel and the TWA Hotel, respectively. Rounding out the new promotions, Wally Aubuchon, Katie Cole, and Andrea Perez have been appointed senior interior designers that will tap into skillsets enhanced by robust hospitality backgrounds.
