Cocktail bar and restaurant Dear Strangers has debuted in New York’s West Village.
Founded by Ivan Papic, Ivan Radulovic, and Bratislav Glisic—alumni bartenders of Employees Only and Macao Trading Company—the concept blends decades of industry expertise with an intimate, elevated experience.
Stepping into Dear Strangers
Designed by locally based Dutch East Design, Dear Strangers is discreetly nestled beneath an unassuming West Village brownstone, symbolic of its New York roots while encouraging guests to explore what lies beyond.
Inside, velvety textures, midnight blue hues, marble accents, and polished wood and brass details create an inviting, chic environment.
An illuminated bar serves as the focal point, set against bold geometric patterns, contrasting tiles, and dramatic lighting transitions. Meanwhile, eccentric art pieces add a personal touch, complementing the finer, intricate details found throughout Dear Strangers.
Tucked beyond an arched portal at the back of the venue, a private dining room awaits. Adorned with deep sea blue walls, the intimate space offers a distinct ambiance set apart from the main bar.
