Set at the intersection of London’s Marylebone and Mayfair neighborhoods, the BoTree hotel will be home to four venues operated by Tao Group Hospitality upon opening late this summer.
Among the 199-room property’s dining options will be signature restaurant LAVO Ristorante—a coastal Italian concept first launched in West Hollywood in 2022. Amsterdam-based studio Concrete collaborated with Tao Group’s in-house team to develop the eatery’s interior design.
The new LAVO Ristorante “seamlessly fuses the contemporary aesthetic of LAVO Los Angeles with the grandeur of London,” says Susan Nugraha, Tao Group’s vice president of design and development. “Soft colors, layers of whimsical lighting, and artful details combine to foster a modern atmosphere that is further enhanced by an abundance of natural light.”
Nugraha adds: “Design highlights include a spectacular interpretation of a sculptural flower garden on the ceiling by UK artist Dorian Van Braam and a skylight atrium with an olive tree in the two-story dining room.”
