SH Hotels & Resorts is set to transform the Pan Pacific Seattle into the 1 Hotel Seattle by 2025.
Located in the South Lake Union neighborhood, the property will continue to welcome guests throughout its transformation process, which is being led by Los Angeles-based Studio Collective in partnership with SH Hotels’ internal design team.
The reinvented 153-room property will fuse sustainable luxury with the restorative power of nature, a trademark of the 1 Hotels brand.
Upon entering a grand lobby, guests will be greeted by a living wall of greenery and a sculptural stairway fashioned from reclaimed timber and stacked stone.
Guestrooms and suites will also undergo a comprehensive renovation. The refreshed spaces will be outfitted with reclaimed wood finishes, stone-clad millwork, live-edge furniture, and moss art pieces.
A sense of rustic elegance will take hold in the corridors, which will include curated plantings showcasing the beauty of the region’s forests.
1 Hotel Seattle will also be home to dining options inspired by the diverse flavors of the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, a range of wellness-focused amenities will be featured onsite, like a light-filled fitness center.
“We are excited to redefine lifestyle luxury in the Pacific Northwest,” says Raul Leal, CEO of SH Hotels & Resorts. “The new hotel will feature meticulously curated interiors that celebrate the city’s rich heritage of craftsmanship and showcase our biophilic design approach with a vibrant food and beverage offering.”
Leal adds: “Every aspect of the hotel will be a testament to our dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for both travelers and locals, showcasing our commitment to sustainability and personalized experiences.”
