Caesars Republic Scottsdale, the first non-gaming hotel from Caesars Entertainment, is set to open its doors next month.
Situated on the north side of Scottsdale, Arizona’s Fashion Square Mall, the 260,000-square-foot property features 265 guestrooms, including 28 suites and five luxury suites.
Led by Studio 11 Design, the interior design sets a precedent for Caesar’s brand evolution, while incorporating elements of the local landscape.
The design concept, due to the hotel’s proximity to the mall, draws from fashion concepts—utilizing masculine and feminine forms in textures, color tones, and furniture silhouettes. Smooth stone is set against desert sand textures and warm woods are grounded with the softness of local vegetation.
Lighting also plays a key role in accentuating the juxtaposition of the design, as it is used to dramatically transition the hotel from day to night.
The lobby area is anchored by stone-wrapped columns, complemented by fluted wall paneling inspired by Roman columns. Reflective surfaces—such as colored mirrors, bronze glass, and lacquer—are also placed throughout spaces to reflect the surrounding nature outside.
Caesars Republic Scottsdale houses various F&B outlets, including two restaurants from chef Giada De Laurentiis: Luna and Pronto. Luna was created as an energy node—boasting a three-sided bar and a floor-to-ceiling glass wall with views into the kitchen—on the most prominent corner of the building.
Located on the seventh floor is the aptly named Seven (SVN), an elevated pool lounge and fine dining concept. The property also houses 20,000 square feet of event space including a 7,000-square-foot ballroom that opens onto Cleopatra’s Pool & Bar.
