Nestled along the leafy waterways of Dubai mini-city Madinat Jumeirah, the seven Malakiya Villas have reopened at the Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf hotel, following a year-long refresh by locally based designer Sahar Alyaseer. The refurbished villas evoke an Arabesque style that nods to the romanticism of the past to complement the palatial property.
Bathed in natural light, the interiors of the villas are defined by a tranquil ambiance with neutral furnishings and notes of invigorating color and warmth. “It was an honor to collaborate with Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf on the refurbishment of its luxurious Malakiya Villas,” says Alyaseer. “The idea behind incorporating neutral tones in the interiors and landscapes is to make guests connect with the surrounding natural environment without taking away the warmth and intimacy of the villas. This allows the design to flow seamlessly and look aesthetically pleasing.”
Spanning two- and three-bedroom configurations, each Malakiya Villa comprise a plunge pool, kitchen, expansive private terrace, and exclusive access to a private beachfront and exclusive pools including Celeste, an adults-only infinity pool overlooking the glittering ocean.
