The Kimpton Claret Hotel has opened its doors in Denver’s Belleview Station neighborhood.
The handiwork of Chicago-based designer Kara Mann, the 19-floor newly built Kimpton Claret Hotel is a study of contrasts. Elements like chunky knits are paired with supple leather, warm woods complemented by cool metals, and textural plaster against smooth stone.
The hotel’s 190 guestrooms (four of which are suites) showcase a minimalist sensibility with a soft palette of gray, beige, and cream combined with warm accents. The calming tones are offset by striking modern artwork and large picture windows that frame the city and mountain landscapes.
The lobby—where guests are greeted by a hand-finished fireplace, sculptural steel reception desk, and lobby bar—is anchored by a grand wood staircase leading up to the second-floor meeting spaces.
Kimpton Claret Hotel houses 10,000 square feet of meeting space across two ballrooms, a boardroom, pre-function space, and an outdoor terrace. These spaces were kept simple and clean with accents like large mirrors and custom light fixtures.

Adjacent to the lobby, ground floor restaurant Saverina is outfitted in a chic and comfortable aesthetic with a display kitchen, large windows, high ceilings, and street-front views. An understated elegance is achieved through organic materials like exposed brick, black steel, blonde wood, marble, and leather.
Perched on the 19th floor is the Halo Rooftop Bar, which is rendered in a dark palette offset by bright yellows, electric purple, and textures of leather, velvet, and animal print. The space boasts a large outdoor terrace complete with fire pits and lounge seating.
