Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is continuing its strategic expansion with a series of recent acquisitions, including the landmark Hôtel Lutetia in Paris and the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, both of which will be rebranded under the Mandarin Oriental name.
Several more openings are on the horizon, with key highlights in Mallorca and Vienna set to debut this year.
Mandarin Oriental, Mallorca
Perched on the picturesque Costa d’en Blanes peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Mallorca will introduce 131 elegantly designed guestrooms, including suites and bungalows, set on over seven acres of lush cliffs and gardens. Each accommodation offers sea views, with exclusive access to two secluded coves.
Mandarin Oriental, Vienna
Slated to open this spring, Mandarin Oriental, Vienna transforms a historic Art Nouveau building—once a commercial law court—into a luxury retreat in the city’s UNESCO-listed historic center. The 151-key property, which boasts sweeping views over Vienna and a tranquil central courtyard, will merge original architectural details with contemporary elements. Guests can expect dining options, a full-service spa, an indoor pool, and fitness facilities as well.
Looking ahead
Mandarin Oriental, Suzhou, a 146-key low-rise sanctuary in the city’s new Central Business District, is set to debut in 2026.
Furthermore, the brand will expand its Caribbean presence with Mandarin Oriental Esencia, Puerto Rico in 2028. Located on the unspoiled southwestern coast at Boquerón Bay in Cabo Rojo, the luxury resort and branded residences will mark Mandarin Oriental’s third property in the region.
Also scheduled for completion in 2028, Mandarin Oriental Grand Cayman will mark the brand’s first new construction resort and residences in the Caribbean. The ultra-luxury property features a 91-key resort and two distinct residential offerings: the Beach House and Ocean House Residences.
The Beach House collection includes 20 residences atop the resort, offering access to world-class amenities. Designed by Hart Howerton and Meyer Davis, these residences boast private ocean-view terraces, chef’s kitchens, and natural stone bathrooms. Meanwhile, the Ocean House comprises 22 standalone residences within a private, boutique residential building, providing an exclusive retreat at St. James Point, the island’s southernmost tip.
