Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol
Five years after debuting on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, Four Seasons returned to Mexico with the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol in May. The beachside retreat was envisioned as a hacienda-style village—with 96 guestrooms and suites, 61 residences, as well as villas, and estates—by architect Robert C. The Jay
Crafted by AvroKO, the Jay is a love letter to John Portman as well as San Francisco. Located in a Brutalist building designed by the late architect and real estate developer, the property also honors lesser-known local artists and activists from the 1960s who made an impact on the city. “These are the people who shaped San Francisco behind the scenes,” notes AvroKO principal and cofounder Greg Bradshaw. “The design feels like a savvy San Franciscan who knows their history but has an edge.” Read the full story.
Forth Atlanta
Situated within Atlanta’s transformed Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, the Forth Atlanta is a mixed-use concept that rises 16 stories above the Historic Fourth Ward Park. The property, which was brought to life by Morris Adjmi Architects, is home to 157 guestrooms, 39 extended-stay suites, an expansive pool area, wellness facilities, a members club, and four dining venues from Method Co.
