The opening of Trailborn Grand Canyon marks the fifth property for Trailborn, a collection of hospitality concepts rooted in the great American outdoors.
Inside Trailborn Grand Canyon
The design, created in collaboration with architecture firm Lake|Flato, blends the region’s historic charm with contemporary amenities. Restored elements, such as a saloon-style event space, honor the past, while curated art, vintage finds, and playful décor introduce a distinctive Southwestern aesthetic.
The guestrooms evoke Route 66 motor lodge nostalgia with modern comforts, including velvet headboards, leather-stitched lamps, and walk-in showers.
“We are thrilled to bring the Trailborn experience to one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world on one of the most iconic roads in the country,” says Mike Weiss, cofounder and co-CEO of Trailborn and Castle Peak Holdings. “Trailborn Grand Canyon embodies our commitment to creating thoughtful, memorable stays in the country’s most incredible outdoor destinations.”
Coming soon: Miss Kitty’s
Later this spring, Trailborn Grand Canyon will debut Miss Kitty’s, a full-service steakhouse, grill, and bar with both indoor and outdoor seating.
A beloved local institution, Miss Kitty’s will maintain its community roots while offering a refreshed, contemporary take on its classic charm. The space will feature rich dark woods, handcrafted tiles, and a desert-inspired color palette, complemented by playful Western touches and illustrations that capture the region’s spirit.
“Trailborn Grand Canyon is a celebration of the spirit of the American West, bringing together history, adventure, and community in a truly special location,” says Ben Weinberg, cofounder and co-CEO of Trailborn and Castle Peak Holdings. “Working with Lake}Flato, we’ve reimagined this property to not only honor the legacy of Williams and Route 66 but to create a welcoming, dynamic space for both visitors and locals alike.”
Trailborn Grand Canyon joins a growing portfolio that includes Trailborn Rocky Mountains, Trailborn Highlands, and Trailborn Surf & Sound.
