The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North has revealed a multimillion-dollar renovation of its public spaces, guestrooms, dining outlets, and more.
The 372-room hotel has also added two 1,250-square-foot premier suites: A one-bedroom presidential suite and a two-bedroom, bi-level corner suite.
Revamped by Studio 11 Design, “the hotel’s design seeks to encapsulate the essence of its locale, where the vibrancy of urban culture harmonizes with the serenity of nature and outdoor exploration,” says Studio 11 interior designer Brook Schulze.
The design narrative creates a visual connection between Atlanta’s cityscape and the inviting ambiance of the local Sandy Springs community through the use of refined mixed metal finishes, polished natural stone surfaces, and clean, contemporary furnishings.
Subtle geometric motifs in the lobby’s white oak woodwork pay homage to architectural schemes found around the city, while fabrics used throughout the hotel channel the limestone-rich environment and sandy Chattahoochee Riverbanks via a palette of earthy hues, deep blues, and soft greens. Wave-patterned carpets, inspired by the natural springs, are paired with rich wood tones to create a grounding sense of comfort.
The onsite SAVOR Bar & Kitchen underwent an overhaul that calls upon Georgia’s vibrant spring and summer seasons. A color palette reflecting lavender wisteria, dense leafy green trees, and the purple hues of Verbena wildflowers are paired with indoor foliage and natural finishes. Brass accents and glossy tiles round out the tranquil ambiance.
The redesign also extends to the meeting and event spaces, which comprises 10 rooms and a total of 25,000 square feet. The natural light-filled spaces are brought to life with luxurious textiles, warm colors, and dynamic details.
