Viceroy at Ombria Algarve, Portugal

Set on 13 acres with views of the Algarve hills, the Viceroy at Ombria Algarve is spread across 24 buildings arranged to recall a traditional Portuguese village. Comprising six dining outlets, four swimming pools, and a kid’s club, the 141-room hotel is dedicated to the health of the area’s land and ecosystems. For instance, more than 700 oak trees have been planted and 5,900 linear feet of river habitat has been restored. Additionally, an onsite plant nursery helps ensure the growth and preservation of local flora and fauna.

The Emory, London

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, Austria

Hotelier Raffaele Tysserand transformed a 15th-century Umbrian palace into the Palazzo Petrvs. Honoring its origins as a private residence built in 1475, the renovation preserved historic features like original ceilings, frescoes, and a stone fireplace. The first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Middle East, Nujuma is set on Ummahat Island, flanked by the crystal blue waters of the Red Sea. Home to 63 overwater and beach villas, the destination’s design nods to the region with a palette inspired by the shades of sea and sand and geometric patterns that reflect Saudi Arabia’s distinctive cultural heritage. The resort is also home to five F&B experiences as well as the Neyrah Spa, an indoor-outdoor oasis finished in natural materials that connect guests to the location.

The former features 59 seafront villas with private pools; six dining venues including brand signature Peacock Alley; and a marine conservation center.
