French hospitality brand Sofitel has announced the launch of Sofitel Residences Buenos Aires Madero, expanding its global footprint in the luxury residential sector.
Slated for completion in 2030, the project marks the Accor-owned brand’s first branded residence in the Americas and its third worldwide.
A collaborative design vision for Sofitel Residences Buenos Aires Madero
To bring this landmark project to life, Sofitel is partnering with Argentine luxury real estate developer NorthBaires.
The architectural framework is spearheaded by BMA. The interior design, meanwhile, introduces a deeply rooted sense of place, developed by BMA’s interior design team in collaboration with Argentine artist and designer Cristián Mohaded.
Situated in the Dique 4 area of Puerto Madero, the site offers an immersive connection to its surroundings, with the building strategically oriented to capture panoramic views of the city’s landmarks. Residents will look out over the iconic Buenos Aires skyline and the historic Obelisk monument, while also taking in the open skies, riverfront, and lush greenery of the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve.
Rising 43 floors above the waterfront, the complex will comprise 188 apartments, 343 parking spaces, and a suite of sophisticated amenities.
The Madero property plays a pivotal role in Sofitel’s strategic expansion across the Southern Cone. Upon its debut, the luxury residential tower will complement the brand’s regional portfolio, which currently includes Sofitel La Reserva Cardales and Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta in Argentina, alongside the Sofitel Montevideo Carrasco & Spa in neighboring Uruguay.
