Ray’s Hometown Bar has brought its signature charm to Miami with the opening of its third outpost.
First launched on New York’s Lower East Side in 2019 (a second location debuted in Brooklyn four years later), Ray’s draws inspiration from America’s quintessential local bars—unpretentious spots that feel like home.
Inside Ray’s Hometown Bar Miami
As part of the Authentic Hospitality portfolio—which includes Pebble Bar, Bar Calico, and Jac’s on Bond—Ray’s Miami brings its own unique flavor to the roster.
Designed in collaboration with Taavo Somer, the two-story venue inside the Freehand Miami Beach hotel sits adjacent to the popular Broken Shaker bar.
Complete with a disco ball and wood-paneled walls, the Miami location continues the brand’s ethos of a laid-back, nostalgic hangout.
The space feels akin to stepping into a retro basement bar, filled with familiar touches: wood paneling, checkerboard flooring, vintage neon signs, vinyl booths, and a well-worn pool table. Walls are adorned with signed photographs and classic Americana memorabilia that tie the aesthetic together.
