Mosaic Hotel Collection and Napa Valley Land Company have broken ground on the Elene, a boutique resort and dining experience set to open in Napa Valley in early 2026.
The resort will feature 50 guestrooms and suites, a heated pool, recovery garden, and fitness studio. Additional amenities will include a restaurant, bar, café, outdoor living room, and a bike barn. Plus, the Elene will boast direct access to the Napa Valley Vine Trail.
Architecture from local firm Signum Architecture, interiors by Parts and Labor Design, and landscaping by San Francisco-based Surfacedesign will bring the Elene to life.
Arriving at the Elene in Napa Valley
The arrival experience will begin with views of a public courtyard, where guests and locals can gather around sitting areas, water fountains, and communal fire tables. Nestled deeper into the property, a lush outdoor living room will feature intimate lounge areas with fire tables and sweeping views of the landscape.
Co-developed by Greg Pitts, owner of Napa Valley Land Company and partner at Panoramic Advisors, the spacious grounds include a public café, central courtyard, and bike center.
Inside the accommodations
The resort’s guestrooms and suites will be crafted with a sense of conscious luxury. Each guestroom will serve as its own private sanctuary, complete with side entries, oversized residential-like bathrooms, luxurious finishes, and expansive glass windows. In addition, generously sized decks will include lounge areas and fire pits.
Each of the Elene’s four luxury suites will span nearly 1,200 feet of interior and exterior space, comprising a bedroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen.
Public amenities at the Elene
The Elene will include a variety of onsite dining options—including an upscale restaurant, a house bar, and a café—that will cater equally to the local community and travelers.
After a day of outdoor exploration, guests will be able to indulge in the recovery garden, envisioned by design consultant Lydia Mondavi. A departure from a traditional hotel spa, the recovery garden will prioritize an active recovery experience through an infrared sauna, hot and cold plunge, and a thermal mineral pool with targeted massage showers.
