Located just off Merrion Square, the Leinster has debuted as Dublin’s first luxury lifestyle hotel.
The hotel houses 55 playfully chic bedrooms and suites, a rooftop restaurant from French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the Collins Club, an event space, and a luxury boutique gym.
A design collaboration between ODAA, Henchion Reuter Architects, and ODonnell ONeill Design, the Leinster fuses classic architecture with Parisian boutique styles, like bold modern patterns, tactile materials, and marble veining.
Crafted to entice guests to linger, the 55 guestrooms and suites feature lavish velvets and detailed cabinetry paired with bold color and graphic motifs. Furnishings include botanical headboards, cherry red sofas, tasseled bedside lamps, deep-green tiling, and copper bathtubs (exclusively found in suites).
Meanwhile, the Collins Club cocktail bar is a destination in itself. A Georgian glam aesthetic is achieved via dim lighting, detailed ceilings, and a bar swathed in a luscious shade of crimson.
Art is a key element at the Leinster. Bedroom walls, for instance, are transformed into canvases, and halls into galleries. More than 300 works from over 80 global artists are found throughout the property—a reflection of Ireland’s growing contemporary art scene. The collection includes art by Melissa O’Donnell, Colette Riet, Stephen Dunne, and Damien Hirst.
